Dear Photographer,
My name is Tony Corbell and I want to welcome you to The Nik Summit. We think you’ll agree it’s quite a unique photographic experience with some of the world’s leading photographers and educators coming together in celebration of the great art and craft of photography.
Join us as we photograph some of the most beautiful locations in San Diego, California, listen to leaders of the industry discuss the future of photography, and see keynote presentations by two of the world’s top photographers, Joe McNally and Robert Beck. Joe has worked with Time, Newsweek, National Geographic and numerous Fortune 500 clients such as FedEx, SONY, Land’s End, Nike and more. Robert has been a celebrated Sports Illustrated photographer for over twenty years.
We’ll be led on location shoots by great landscape, wildlife and scenic photographers Tony Sweet, Rick Sammon, Laurie Shupp and myself. In addition we’ll see demonstrations on digital workflow and editing solutions featuring the latest technology and visit with the software engineers developing these great tools. We’ll also hear from some of the leading editors of photographic magazines on how to get your work published.
A fabulous resort hotel, The San Diego Mission Bay Hilton, has been selected as the headquarters for this special event, so the accommodations will be spectacular.
This is the first event of its kind and, in closing I’ll just simply say we’d be honored to have you join us.
